Wednesday 28th AUGUST 2002
MIDLAND COMBINATION PREMIER DIVISION
CHESLYN HAY 2 v 1 COLESHILL TOWN

Scorer: Dave Wilson.

Coleshill’s first half display was the worst of the season so far. There was no urgency in their play anywhere on the pitch. The lack of movement was non existent, no one player could come off at half time and say they had played to the best of their ability. Two silly goals were given away due to complacency. Manager Gary Higgins read the riot act at half time and Coleshill responded by stepping up the tempo in the second half. The lads played much better and worked harder. Coleshill pulled a goal back through a left foot shot from Dave Wilson and had two further goals disallowed for off side but it was too much of an up hill battle.

Team:- Darren Bray, Mitchell Thompson, Emerson Mitchell (Stuart Howard), Lee O’Brien, Simon Bradbury, Allen Thomas (Carl Mitchell), Chris Kavanaugh, Paul Burns, Duwayan Mardenborough, Dave Wilson, Christian Crisp (Chris Mann).
