Season Review
Manager Gary Higgins started his second season in charge of Coleshill with Colin Strong as Director Of Football. However both Higgins and Strong left after only 15 games. Long serving player Tony Gormley was asked to become the new manager but many of the players left to join Higgins and Strong at Kings Heath. It left a bitter taste in the mouth as they tried every trick in the book to get players away from Coleshill. Tony promoted many of the reserve team to the first team leaving Dean "Doc" Donachy short and he did a marvellous job bringing in new players who did the club proud. After being in the top half for most of the season, Town tailed away badly but rallied to finish a creditable 14th. A position in the Midland Combination Premier only bettered 15 times, 54 league goals only bettered 7 times and 48 points only bettered 12 times. There were 98 players registered between the two teams.
