Saturday 29th January 2005
Midland Combination Premeir Division
Nuneaton Griff 4 v 1 Coleshill Town
Scorer: Danny Carter.

Without seven 1st team regulars Coleshill gave their worst performance under the leadership of Mick Beadle which left them still searching for their first win of 2005. Nuneaton have improved out of sight from the team that lost the first eight games of the season and must be contenders for team of the month with this sixth straight win. Griff scored twice through Craig Whitmore and Ian Wilson before Danny Carter beat two defenders and the keeper to score and give Town hope but it was 3-1 by half time, Ross Genner with the effort. A better second half display kept the score down but Griff scored again in the last minute through Matt Dyer.
Beadle said "It was very poor and there were no positives for us. Confidence is very low at the moment but we have to keep working hard and believe we can find some form again."

Team;- Craig Jones, Matt Ward, James Lloyd (Simon Bradbury), Steve Lees (Chris Gee), Dean Farrington, Chris Davies, Matty Phipps (Lee Dempster), Carl Smith, Tim Lane, Danny Carter, Mitchell Thompson.
