MATCH REPORT
These two teams have been doing battle in a local derby for many, many years but it’s the first time at this Level. Coleshill are in their 5th year at Southern/Northern League status but this is Boldmere’s first after promotion last season and they have started on fire lying 4th in the table with the Colemen in 8th.
A very even game that even at the death could have gone either way. Boldmere took the lead with a very strange goal as Jack Burgess hit a speculative shot from 30 yards that bounced unexpectedly over Town keeper Paul Hathaway. 25 minutes.Coleshill levelled on 38 minutes when a Alex Tomkinson pass split the home defence and Kai Tonge bend the ball round keeper Lewis Gwilliams. Coleshill looked on top second half and took the lead on 59 minutes when a Hathaway clearance was flicked on by Tomkinson and Tonge lifted the ball over the keeper and into the net. Boldmere hit back a minute later as Oliver West swept home from a long throw in. Both sides had chances to win it, Tonge nearly got his hat trick but Gwilliams saved the Hathaway pulled off the save if the match to deny Andre Brown.

Star Man: Kai Tonge.
