MATCH REPORT

Four red cards in the first game between these two sides and both teams hadn’t forgot and it was always likely to boil over. A very even first half saw Coleshill take the lead on 20 minutes as a one, two with Alex Tomkinson saw George Washbourne bend a left foot shot into the net. Stamford hit back on the half hour mark as Jonathan Margetts swept the ball into the net. Stamford were starting to get on top but Alex Tomkinson found himself in the box after a Gio Dainty flick on and a Kai Tonge through ball and he cut inside and finished with his right foot, on 65 minutes. On 72 minutes Coleshill increased their lead with a Kai Tonge header. Yellow cards started to appear but a Red for Jack Duffy gave Coleshill the advantage and secured a well earned three points.
