MATCH REPORT

A crunch game with both sides hoping to break into the play of places. This is the fourth time the sides have met this season, Chasetown victors in two Cup matches but Coleshill took the points at the Scholars ground back in October with two George Washbourne goals.
A point each wasn’t really what either side needed but it was what both side’s deserved. Chasetown took the lead on 5 minutes when Coleshill failed to clear a harmless cross but Aaron Ashford pounced to shoot home. The play was even but Chasetown had the better chances but Coleshill levelled on42 minutes when a great run down the left by Amarvir Sandhu found Kai Tonge and his left foot shot from virtually on the bye line went across goal and into the far corner. The second half was again very even but Chasetown were awarded a very soft penalty that Jack Langston blasted over the bar. All in all an even game.
