NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Belford Gets Town A Point

Mickleover looked good for a win after just ten minutes of this contest but didn't press on and suffered a sucker punch midway through the second half as the teams shared the points. Away keeper Cameron Belford made a superb diving save to tip over a header from Manni Norkett after eight minutes, but just a minute later the Mickleover debutant came out on top in a one on one to slot home. The visitors hardly created anything up front, but Mickleover sat back and invited tem in. Theo Rowe had already gone close twice, but after keeper Jack McDowell had saved from Ben Usher-Shipway, Rowe made the rebound count after 71 minutes. Mickleover sprung to life again near the end, but keeper Belford saved from Andy Dales, Thabang Dube and Josiah Dyer to make sure the visitors retained a point.
Star Man: Cameron Belford (Coleshill)
Entertainment: ***

A note from a Coleshill Supporter: Cameron was unbelievable! The reporter (above) forgot to mention that Coleshill hit the woodwork twice and varies other chances including two shots from Theo, so the comment "failed to create" is nonsense.
