Midland Combination Premier
Coleshill Town 2 v 2 Bolehall Swifts
Scorers: Donavan Rowe, Jamie Shipway.
Honours ended even after an entertaining and open derby at Pack Meadow on Tuesday night. The hosts just shaded the first half and took the lead through Donavan Rowe after Swifts had failed to clear their lines. However, Rob Masefield's men started the second period in determined fashion and took the lead with two strikes in 15 minutes from Ryan Allmark. The end -to-end action continued and Coleshill restored parity with 20 minutes to go through Jamie Shipway. Both sides had chances to claim all three points and Coleshill almost did so in the final minute as Craig Davies' strike hit the inside of the post and rebounded to safety. "It was a very entertaining game and a good advert for Midland Combination football," said Coleshill boss Mick Beadle.
Team: Karl Hunter, Rob Ellis, James Lloyd (Simon Bradbury), Luke Pendrey, Des Wilkes (Danny Carter), Kevin Wagstaff (Dean Farrington), James Dance, David Brush, Craig Davies, Jamie Shipway, Donavan Rowe. Subs not used Mitchell Thompson, Myrone Levy.
