Saturday 5th February 2006
Midland Combination Premier
Coleshill Town 1 v 1 Continental Star
Scorer: Myrone Levy.

Coleshill Fail To Shine Against Lowly Star
Coleshill were bitterly disappointed to drop two points against lowly Star. This was a poor game with very little goalmouth incident. Chances were few and far between in the first half but Star broke the deadlock on the hour mark. Myrone Levy equalised for the hosts from close range with 15 minutes remaining and Coleshill did dominate the closing stages but were unable to take the few chances they created. "It was a poor game and I wasn't happy with the performance." said manager Mick Beadle. "We need to beat the sides who are below us in the league but we just didn't do enough. To be fair, we did have a go towards the end and created a few decent chances but we wasted them." Coleshill were boosted by the return of teenage striker Danny Carter after injury and he is set to start against Bridgnorth Town this Saturday. "He knows where the goal is and I will bring in a few more of the younger lads over the next few weeks," Beadle added.

Team: Miles Millington-Day, Simon Bradbury, Ryan Gardiner, Josh McPherson, Des Wilkes, Kevin Wagstaff, Rob Ellis (Myrone Levy), Carl Smith, Dan Greaves, Mitchell Thompson, Simon Chatwin (Danny Carter). Subs not used Daniel Glasgow.
