Coleshill Town FC

Quorn Football Club has a superb stadium and both staff players enjoyed the facilities on offer. It was an ideal evening to play football and the pitch was in good condition and looked inviting. The match started off fairly evenly with both sides playing some good football. We had a new player, Akeem Liburd, who played some good football. However Quorn won the battle in midfield almost every time and eventually went ahead 1-0 with a well taken goal. We battled on with a number of chances which we couldn?t convert. By half time Quorn were ahead by 2-0. We came out in the second half and created a few chances. During the half we were awarded a penalty which was well taken by TJ Holder. The Manager brought on two new young players during the second half, Cornellius Phipps and Christopher Green, who enjoyed their introduction to flood-lit football. However Quorn were all ways on top of the match and became the eventual winner 3-1.
