Winless Weekend For Premier High-Fliers
Coleshill Town failed to keep the pressure up on second placed Castle Vale as they suffered a disappointing defeat on Saturday. Despite ctreating the best chances in a poor first half, Coleshill failed to find the net before the break. It seemed like Coleshill were still in the dressing room at the start of the second half as Southam scored twice from crosses. Manager Mick Beadle said "It was a poor performance on our behalf. We had the best chances in a poor first half but we just didn't put them away. We played just as poorly in the second half although both the goals had a bit of luck about them as they were crosses that went straight in. In the end it was just one of those days."
Team: Greg Allen, Rob Hipkiss (Simon Volante), Ryan Gardner, Josh McPherson, Ian Bluck, Radolph Richards (Oliweshay Morgan), James Dance, David Brush, Michael Campbell, Danny Carter, Dominic Reece. Subs not used Carl Smith, Kevin Wagstaff.
