The Coleshill Class Of 2008 Smash Records
Coleshill came from 2-0 down to beat Heath Hayes and broke a number of club records in the process. As well as scoring their 100th goal of the season, they recorded their most wins in a season (24) and reached the most points (77). Heath Hayes played very well in the first half and were 2-0 up within 34 minutes thanks to goals from Barber and Checketts. However, a goal on the stroke of half time by Danny Carter gave Coleshill renewed hope. They then dominated the second half, grabbing an equaliser by a Carter volley 16 minutes from time. The home side then got the winner when a Steve Smith free kick was headed in by Michael Campbell. Coleshill have applied for promotion to the Midland Alliance and are hopeful that an FA inspection will make them eligible.

Team: Craig Johnson, Andy Sutherland, Lee Millard, Neil Kitching (Dave Davies), Lee Hunt, James Dance, Simon Volante, Steve Smith, Matty Robinson (Ryan Scott), Danny Carter, Kristian Kelsall (Michael Campbell). Subs not used Stuart Adamson, Chris Butler.
