Coleshill Town 3 – 2 Stone Dominoes

First game of the new season and it provided the entertainment and goals everyone was hoping for.
Stone started well, creating several chances in the first 10mins, whilst Simon Dumelow was threatening for coleshill at the other end 12mins in, and coleshill were rewarded a penalty after James Braid was up-ended in the box. Simon scored to make it 1-0.
Goal attempts were evenly shared at each end, with Luke Drinkwater saving well from a Stone free kick and Joe Borland having a shot from Rikki Lee Richards throw.
Simon continued to cause problems for stone with several attempts leading up to the break.
5mins into the second half saw Stones equalizer with the visiting striker calmly rounding the home goalie and slotting in. 2mins later and Coleshill were behind to a low hard shot from the stone forward. This had an immediate response from Coleshill, which resulted in an equalizer from Simon Dumelow. The home side pushed forward for the winner, and 4mins from time, got it when Karl Douglas hit home from 12yards.
