Coleshill suffered their first defeat of the season against a quality side in Bromsgrove Rovers.
Coleshill started well, with plenty of possession in Bromsgroves 3rd but without any real clear-cut chances on goal. The 27’ brought the goal the match needed. Dimitrious Smikle scored his first for Coleshill Town after taking down and controlling a lovely ball over the top from midfield. It only took 3’ for Bromsgrove to equalize from a free kick in the 30’ once again Coleshill enjoyed plenty of possession but the goals never came with the first half ending 1-1.
6’ into the 2nd half and the visitors took the lead. Coleshill yet again spurned chance after chance. The final nail in the home sides coffin was a penalty. The successful conversion of which signaled the exit of Coleshill from the cup.
