COLESHILL Town could storm back into the top ten with victory over Alvechurch on Saturday.

Carl Adams' men appear to have turned a corner after a miserable run of six defeats in seven games.

They have since secured back-to-back wins over Loughborough and Willenhall and could go as high as sixth with a win at lowly Alvechurch this weekend.

"It was a great victory over Willenhall on Saturday but, to be fair, these are games we should be winning," said Adams.

"We had a bad run recently but we always knew that might happen as we had a horrendous run of fixtures.

"But the fixtures are a little kinder over the next few weeks so hopefully we can push on again now and get ourselves back into the top ten, which is where we want to be.

"We don't want to be ambling around in mid-table, that's for certain."

Adams, meanwhile, believes new signing Richard Gregory will be a success at Coleshill.

The ex-Willenhall striker came off the bench to score on his Coleshill debut against his former club on Saturday.

"He has scored a lot of goals for Willenhall this season despite the fact they have been struggling," Adams added.

"I honestly think he is going to be a very impressive signing for us.

"The one thing that we do, as a side, is create chances, even in games where we play poorly.

"The problem for us has been that Danny Carter has carried a lot of the responsibility for scoring goals.

"When he doesn't score, we find goals hard to come by so having Richard on board might ease the pressure."

Boss Adams may decide to play again this weekend despite injuries clearing up at the club.

He was forced into action last weekend because of unavailability of players.

The likes of Loyiso Recci and Ben Porter return this weekend but Adams said: "I feel I added some leadership on the pitch.

"I am certainly not the long-term answer but may play again this weekend. We'll see what happens."
