Colemen get home draw in oldest cup competion
Writes The Coleshill Herald

COLESHILL Town have been handed a home tie in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup next month as the Road to Wembley gets underway.

Midland Alliance outfit Town will entertain AFC Wulfrunians of the West Midlands Premier – a division below the Colemen – on Saturday, August 11.

If Coleshill progress, they will then host Northern League Division One side Kidsgrove Athletic in the preliminary round proper on Saturday, August 25.

And if Town get through that test, a bumper tie would await in the first qualifying round proper, away to Southern League side Barwell – where Tamworth boss Marcus Law first made his name as a manager.

Bolehall Swifts are not taking part in the Cup this year but will participate in the FA Vase, where they visit Tipton Town in the first qualifying round on Saturday, September 1.

If they win that game, Swifts face a derby second qualifying round clash at Coleshill two weeks later – that is, if the Colemen overcome Stafford Town initially.
