Coleshill freshen up squad to halt their slide
Writes The Coleshill Herald

COLESHILL Town supremo Paul Billing has swung the axe to halt his side's alarming start to the Midland Alliance campaign.

Manager Jason Lanns has kept his job but former Tamworth star Michael Crawford has left his role as assistant manager.

Chairman Billing has also added Andy Rees, the club's former reserves team boss, to the coaching staff.

Striker James Travis and central defender Greg Dickie have joined the club from Stratford and Castle Vale JKS respectively.

"We have started making changes and I felt we had to do that," said Billing.

"We have changed the backroom staff around a little bit and hopefully that can help Jason.

"I see myself as a loyal chairman. Last season I stood by Carl Adams when we went through a real slump in form.

"I want Jason to succeed and hopefully, by changing things around in the backroom, we can support him more.

"I want us to get back to having a strong and close-knit dressing room."
