WE MEET AGAIN – ELLESMERE RANGERS

The two teams have only ever met in the Midland Alliance, since Ellesmere were promoted for the 2010/11 season ie four times in total. Coleshill have the upper hand having never lost to the Shropshire outfit. Town’s record stands at:-

Amazingly Steve Hakner has scored in three of the four games, he must play in this game!!!

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill Town also grabbed a late winner as they twice came from behind to secure a 4-3 victory at Ellesmere Rangers. The Warwickshire outfit were losing going into the final 10mins but late goals from Jason Ramsey and Barry Fitzharris gave them the points.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
COLESHILL PULL OFF A SUPERB COMEBACK THANKS TO BARRY
Coleshill Town came back from behind three times to secure a fine win at Ellesmere. Carl Adams' men were behind in the second minute as Ellesmere's Ian Rolands headed home a Rob Dean cross. Coleshill were back on level terms on 16 minutes thanks to a goal by Neil Kitching. But the home side were quickly back in front as Rory Griffiths converted Darren Beech's cross on 19 minutes. Coleshill equalised again before half time through Steve Hakner but found themselves trailing 3-2 on 54 minutes as Andrew Dunkerley headed home from close range. The visitors kept plugging away and found a third goal on 81 minutes through Jason Ramsey, and in a dramatic finish, Barry Fitzharris scored a 90th minute winner to secure another fine victory for Coleshill.
