Birmingham Youth & Old Boys League, Mercian Division
A period of seriously bad weather set in. Firstly snow, then frost and finally waterlogged pitches meant a period of 12 weeks past, from the 22nd December, before Coleshill played again. The papers said that this was the worst winter for 200 years.

Coleshill Chronicle Wrote:
These teams met on Saturday last in capital conditions and before a large gate. The visitors kicked down hill and although they held their own well in midfield, the homesters had a lead of 2-0 by half time. Subsequently, Coleshill added five more goals and the visitors scored from a penalty. Coleshill ran out easy winners of a good game by 7 goals to 1. The homesters played excellent football in all departments. Hinton, in goal, made some capital saves, two just before the close of the match were particularly good. A hot shot from about 20 yards range was smartly put over the bar and a minute or two later he cleverly stopped what appeared to be a certain goal when an opposing forward shot at about 8 yard range.
Coleshill play Amington Rovers on 15th February, a game which should have been played three weeks ago but they wired at the last minute to say they had missed the train.
