Progress Under Manager Paul Casey!

Someone asked me yesterday, "Where were we this time last year"!

Well it's coming up to a year since Paul Casey took charge but at this time last season it was Chairman Paul Billing who was the interim manager after Jason Lanns stepped down and Andy Reece moved on. Billing's first game resulted in a fine win for Town away at Westfields but it was a rare bright spot in an otherwise miserable start to the season. Town lost four of their first five games with their first win coming in their sixth game. The win against Westfields was just their third of the season and they were already in a dog fight! They also went out of the FA Cup, FA Vase, League Cup and Birmingham Senior Cup all at the first hurdle.

Leap forward twelve months and Town are in their highest ever league position, 7th in the Midland Alliance, still in the FA Vase, 2nd Round, but already out of the FA Cup! The change is huge! Every player in the squad looks comfortable at this level and Casey is still adding to his playing staff!
