WE MEET AGAIN - SPALDING UNITED

Spalding United have been up to Level Four, Southern or Northern League, several times and have been relegated on three occasions. They gained promotion again in 2014 and this time they seem to have established themselves at this level and have reached the Play Off's twice, both times reaching the Final before losing out to Witton Albion in 2017 and then Halesowen last season, we all now how that feels!

This season they are among the favourites to take the title and they are doing really well. They currently sit in 4th place, three points behind current leaders Loughborough Dynamo. They had a fine 3-1 win over Quorn last Saturday in front of a crowd of 382.

The first time the two sides met was in 2021 when they were both placed in the new NPL Midland Division. Interestingly, Coleshill have won both games at Spalding but have failed to win either of the Home games. Also, Josh Willis doesn't score many goals but he has scored twice against Spalding!
