Coleshill Town move into realms of title contenders
Writes the Coleshill Herald

COLESHILL Town chairman Paul Billing admits the squad could achieve what was unthinkable 12 months ago and challenge for the Midland Alliance title.

Eight straight wins have sent Coleshill third in the table and they are closing in on second-placed Quorn.

Tividale remain on course for the title, seven points clear of Coleshill with three games in hand.

But Billing said: "Who knows what is going to happen? We have put ourselves in an incredible position now.

"Eight wins in a row is some achievement, at any level of football.

"We are keeping clean sheets – it's five in seven that we have kept now and we are just becoming more and more professional about seeing games out.

"They say winning is a habit and we are seeing that at the moment.

"Manager Paul Casey has done an amazing job. He's the best person I have worked with by a million miles.

"From where we were 12 months ago, to where we are now, it's just incredible and Paul and the lads here deserve so much credit."

Coleshill are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Stourport.
