COLESHILL CHRONICLE WROTE
In the Senior Cup Coleshill Town were given “exit” by South Yardley who were rather lucky to get into the next round by virtue of a narrow 3-2 win. The ball never ran kindly for Coleshill and at least two of the winners goals carried a doubtful look, their marksmen being Colvin, Danks and McLean. The Town’s reply was performed by Tony Pugh with a penalty and Ewan.
