WE MEET AGAIN –Westfields


We have only ever met Westfields since promotion to the Midland Alliance. They were in fact the first ever game at this level, Saturday 9th August 2008, and to come away from Allpay Park with a 2-2 draw was a good start! Since then, in the twelve meetings in the league honours are very much even, four wins each and four draws! We have also met Westfields in the Semi-Final of the League Cup and we were very unlucky to narrowly lose out over the two games 3-4.
Last season Westfields finished in 12th place, disappointing for them following the runners up spot to Stratford Town the year previous, but they are showing top six form again this season and, with Coleshill on FA Cup duty, Westfields went above Town into second place although we do have a game in hand.
