COLESHILL chairman Paul Billing says the squad are just focusing on a game at a time as they look to make up ground in the Midland Football League Premier.

The Colemen currently lie eighth in the league but have games in hand on all sides above them.

And, with the majority of sides in FA Vase action this weekend, Coleshill play catch up as they travel to Causeway in the league.

"It sounds like a cliche but we are just concentrating on each game and trying to get three points," Billing said.

"We have three games in hand on the sides above us and if we can win those games it will stand us in good stead.

"The key really is for us to just keep slogging away and then we will see where we are at come Christmas time. If we can put ourselves in with a shout around the festive period, then hopefully we can kick on."

Saturday's opponents Causeway are currently tenth in the table and Billing hopes his squad deliver.

"We are not firing on all cylinders at the moment," he said. "We are not a million miles away though and we are still getting results but we are always striving to do even better."
