Coleshill Town's Casey moves to add Evans to his ranks
Writes the Coleshill Herald

COLESHILL have completed the signing of Sutton Coldfield Town defender Rob Evans.

Evans, a former Coleshill youngster, was deemed surplus to requirements by the Royals and Paul Casey has moved quickly to pounce.

Coleshill boss Casey said: "I wasn't actually looking to sign anyone else to be honest but when an opportunity to sign someone like Rob comes along, you have to go for it.

"It was a simple decision to make. He's a great signing for us. He is someone who is versatile as he can play at right back or centrally in the back four.

"He's very fit and mobile, decent in the air and he's very good from set-pieces too – he can score goals.

"He is also a local lad and he played for Coleshill as a youth, with our skipper Danny Tymon.

"As I say, he's a good signing and with something like 12 games to come in six weeks, he is going to be a valuable player for us."
