Manager Carl Adams Resigns

Coleshill Town manager Carl Adams stepped down from his post today saying work committments were preventing him from giving the job the time it deserved. Adams will go down in the history books as Coleshill's most successfull manager as he guided the side to promotion to the Midland Football Alliance after 40 years in the Midland Combination and just recently lifted the Tony Allden Trophy. Coleshill currently lie in 17th place in the Alliance, a disappointing position, but the summer disruption of not knowing which league they would be in has been a major contribiting factor. The narrow defeat to Sphinx and the draw with league leaders Market Drayton indicated some progress in coming to terms with the much tougher league and it is hoped that a new manager can build on these foundations.

Director of Football Colin Strong and Captain Neil Kitching will take charge for the home game against Bridgnorth this saturday and will hope to stabilise the club, giving the committee time to decide whether to advertise the position. Following a positive meeting with the players, James Dance will now be Captain and Matty Robinson Club Captain.
