WE MEET AGAIN Causeway United
Coleshill entertain Causeway United this tuesday, 24th August, in another tough encounter. Causeway are another of the teams that Coleshill have only played since they were promoted to the Alliance.
Causeway started last season like a house on fire and looked as if they were capable of pushing Barwell to the championship but they slipped away badly towards the end and finished 12th, four points and four places below Coleshill.
This season they have started well again with fine wins against Rocester and Westfields but last saturday lost 3-0 to newly promoted Dunkirk. Causeway also played in the FA Cup and overcame another new side to the Alliance in Ellesmere Rangers 2-1. Because United ground share at Stourbridge, they tend to play all their early season games away, and the only game they have played at home so far is the FA Cup match which was played on a sunday.
