WE MEET AGAIN - Lincoln United

This is an easy one.

Coleshill Town have never played Lincoln United in a league, cup or friendly match as far as I'm aware.

Lincoln play in the Evo-Stick League First Division South along with local teams, Sutton Coldfield Town, Romulus and Rushall Olympic. Last season's Midland Alliance champions Barwell are currenly topping the league with seven straight wins.

Lincoln lie in 12th place with a record of two wins three draws and just one defeat from their six games so far.

To get to this stage of the FA Cup, Lincoln beat local rivals Boston Town after a replay, and then beat Shirebrook Town 3-1 in the 1st Qualifying round.

Their FA Cup history includes, in 1991/2, reaching the FA Cup First Round Proper but they then lost 0-7 away to Huddersfield Town. Lincoln however, enjoyed the day and were featured on BBC's Match Of The Day programme.

For Coleshill, this is the furthest they have ever been in the competition and they would have to win today and the next two rounds to reach the 1st Round Proper. A tall ask, but Heh, who knows!
Football is a "Funny Old Game".
