WE MEET AGAIN - Dunkirk

In a season of many first's, Tuesday night will be the first time Coleshill have ever met Dunkirk.

The Nottinghamshire based side won the East Midlands Counties League last season and gained promotion to the Alliance to play at Level 5 for the first time since they were founded in 1946. "The Boatmen" only lost four games all season and three of them came in the first six games. Dunkirk had only been at step 6 for two years being founder members of the East Midlands Couties League, previous to that they played in the Central Midlands League.

They have settled into life in the Alliance very well with a record of six wins, over Stratford, Causeway, Friar Lane, Biddulph, Rocester and Ellesmere, and three defeats to Coalville, Westfields and Kirby. No draws so far, could this be a first. Dunkirk lie in 11th place, two places behind Coleshill but just one point, and are still in the FA Vase.

It's going to be another tough one but if Town have aspirations to break into the top five then this is a game they would expect to win.
