Mikes Out To Get Carter

MIKES OUT TO GET CARTER AS ADAMS FACES A TESTING TRIP
WRITES THE COLESHILL HERALD
Coleshill Town face a battle to hold onto Danny Carter after local rivals Boldmere St Michaels made an approach for the talented striker. Coleshill boss Carl Adams will appeal to Carter's "love for the club" after admitting he could not compete financially with the Sutton Coldfield based Mikes. "Boldmere have put a seven day approach in for Danny". Adams revealed. "We don't want to lose him, of course we don't, because he's a great lad and a terrific player. He has indicated he doesn't want to go but if it came down to finances, there's not a lot we could do. Boldmere could blow us out of the water financially with what they could offer him. It's down to Danny at the end of the day, but we would love him to stay. The one thing we have in our advantage is that he does love it here and enjoys his football. He went to Stratford last season for a spell and things didn't work out, so we'll see what happens". Adams meanwhile is hoping his side can battle their way through a tough fixture list in the coming weeks.
