Biddulph Victoria 1
Coleshill Town 5
COLESHILL Town cruised to another impressive victory with a five star display.
They took the lead in the first minute through Matty Robinson but Danny Smith levelled for Biddulph on 19 minutes.
Luke Williams quickly restored the Coleshill lead on 22 minutes and Robinson stretched the lead.
Robinson also missed a penalty which would have secured a hat-trick but Jon Powis netted on 79 minutes and a Darren Chadwick own goal with six minutes left ensured a comfortable win.
Manager Carl Adams said: "It was another big win for us and I am delighted.
"We were down to the bare bones for the game but the lads available to me were superb. The performance even exceeded the result – we could have won by a lot more than five.
"It was great stuff and it now stands us in good stead for two home games against Bridgnorth and Loughborough University."

One team that did find their scoring touch on the road was Coleshill Town who romped to a 5-1 win at Biddulph Victoria. Matty Robinson struck a first half double with Luke Williams also finding the target before half time. Jon Powis and a Darren Chadwick own goal completed Coleshill's tally while Danny Smith scored the Biddulph effort.

Coleshill Town boss Carl Adams paid a debt of gratitude to Solihull College after youngsters Lewis Moss and Barry Fitzharris answered their SOS. The Pack Meadow side handed the 17 year olds their first taste of senior football in last weeks 5-1 win at Biddulph Victoria which boosted Coleshill's top eight push in the Aspire Midland Alliance. Adams lost Chris Gumery, Andy Cameron, Stuart Hamilton and Rob Freeman through injury while Jason Lanns was suspended but forward Moss and midfielder Fitzharris slotted in impressively. "They are both 17 but they didn't look out of place at all," said Adams. "We had been down to just 12 fit players si I spoke to Mickey Moore at the college and I was delighted he let Lewis and Barry join us." Coleshill, however, have seen hot shot Marvin Johnson return to Solihull Moors after his three month stay. "(Moors Manager) Bob Faulkner did us a huge favour by letting Marvin come to Coleshill and he's shown he has got a big future ahead of him," added Adams.

Rushall Olympic have made a move for Solihull Moors prospect Marvin Johnson to help provide a fresh spark to their flickering play-off push.

N.B. It looks likely that Marvin will stay at Coleshill until the league cup semi final and then join Rushall on loan. What happens if Coleshill progress into the final is anyone's guess.

N.B. This was Coleshill's third win in a row which takes them up to 10th in the league with a game in hand on most teams above them. The goal they conceded against Biddulph was only the second in the last 6 games, (not including the abandoned game at Friar Lane) but Town have scored 21 in that time.

Coleshill have only played Biddulph four times since promotion to the Alliance. The record standing at 3 wins and only the one defeat at Biddulph last season.

Matty Robinson's double takes his tally to 19 in all competitions so far this season.

Coleshill's next game is at home to Bridgnorth, unusually on Thursday night. The reason for this is due to fixture congestion and Bridgnorth already playing away at Malvern on Tuesday.
