SEASON REVIEW
On the field, the last three seasons in the Midland Alliance have all been consolidation with very similar outcomes! 18 wins in all three years, 63,63, and 65 points, 11th, 8th and 12th place finishes. This season Coleshill had a great run in the FA Vase getting to the 3rd Qualifying round for the first time in their history, the run ended by Nuneaton in front of a crowd of almost 1000! They also beat Halesowen in the Senior Cup and played Birmingham City when a young Nathan Redmond was star of the show! But off the field there was turmoil! Reserve team, Youth team and most of the Junior teams left as did committee members and helpers! Tenants Dosthill Colts took on more and more responsibility and when Chairman Paul Woodford left and Director Nigel Jones pulled the budget and put the club up for sale, it looked bleak for Coleshill Town. A merger between Coleshill and Dosthill seemed the most likely outcome over the summer but in what format! Could this be the end of Coleshill Town Football Club after 126 years!
