Coleshill and Boldmere will have to do it all again on Tuesday night as they played out a 2-2 draw at Church Road. Town's visit to Sutton in the Senior Cup will have to be rearranged as the FA Cup takes preference.

Coleshill fell behind on 14 minutes as Tom Law sent in a 30 yard left foot shot that curved away from Paul Hathaway in the visitors goal and found the corner of the net. Coleshill hit back and by half time looked in control with a 2-1 lead. On 24 minutes Jason Ramsey powered his way to the bye line and sent in a cross that found the unmarked Chris Lloyd at the far post who volleyed home. On 37 minutes Ramsey had time and space in the box to chest down a bouncing ball and volley into the net leaving the home keeper static. Coleshill looked capable of seeing the game out but took their foot of the pedal and Boldmere equalised when a cross was sliced by Jason Lanns straight into the path of Tom Overfield who shot across Hathaway into the net. Overfield was involved in the next incident as he attempted to get to the bye line but was pulled back by Barry Fitzharris. Luckily for Coleshill, Hathaway was on hand to beat away the resulting penalty from Law. Niether side did enough to win the game from this point although Tez Carpenter came close as his goal bound effort was brilliantly cleared by a defender. Boldmere had a man sent off after the final whistle as tempers flared but it hadn't been a nasty game and the referee got all the major decisions right.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill have secured a replay at Pack Meadow on Tuesday night. The Mikes started the livelier and took the lead on 14 minutes when Tom Law latched on to a poor clearance and drifted towards goal before unleashing a stunning drive from outside the penalty area. Coleshill rallied and managed to equalise on 24 minutes when Chris Lloyd got on the end of a superb cross from Jason Ramsey and steered his volley past the stranded keeper. Coleshill then took the lead on 37 minutes as Ramsey scored with a sublime curling shot. The Colemen started playing some good football before half time but after the break it was all Boldmere. Tom Overfield equalised on 51 minutes after poor defending by Coleshill. The drama wasn't over as Boldmere were given a controversial penalty, following a Barry Fitzharris foul, but Paul Hathaway was the hero as he saved the resulting spot-kick.
