SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill Town are another side struggling to find some early form and they were beaten 2-0 by league leaders Boldmere St Michaels. Stuart Capaldi scored the opener on 20 minutes after gathering a cross from Joseph Smith. Then Tom Law doubled the lead four minutes into the second half. The home side tried to force their way back into contention but the closest they came was a Danny Carter effort that hit the upright. That result took Boldmere five points clear at the top of the league with their nearest rivals Stourport Swifts involved in the FA Cup.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
COLESHILL'S dismal start to the season continued as they were beaten by local rivals Boldmere.
On a stormy Saturday afternoon at the Pack Meadow, Boldmere forced the pace early and Matt Jackson found Andrew Lewis who shot over the Coleshill bar.
The visitors made the breakthrough in the 20th minute when Joseph Smith ran down the Coleshill wing and sent over a cross that was met by Stuart Capaldi who fired home past Sheridan Martinez in the Coleshill goal.
Boldmere nearly made it two-nil shortly after when a pass from Tom Law found Aaron Hughes inside the penalty area but the shot was held by Martinez.
Boldmere then created another opportunity when Lyndon Weller headed just wide of the Coleshill goal.
Coleshill's first real chance of the game came just before the break when a shot was palmed away by Boldmere keeper Lewis Fenney and the follow up was also saved.
The visitors secured the points after half time as a cross from Capaldi was slotted home by Law.
Coleshill were creating the odd chance, Jamie Molyneux seeing a shot inside the Boldmere penalty area saved by Lewis Fenney.
Boldmere were then gifted an opportunity for a third when Martinez completely miss kicked a clearance which fell to Capaldi but he could only fire wide of the empty goal.
Coleshill's afternoon was best summed up late on as Danny Carter went round Fenney in the Boldmere goal only to see his goal bound shot hit the outside of the post.
NB I think the Coleshill Herald took their report from Boldmere's web site and not from any information gathered from anyone at Coleshill as it describes the game from the visitors point of view and was not necessarily a far reflection of the game. Boldmere just about deserved the win but Coleshill played much better than they have of late and were far from outplayed!

REPORT
Manager Jason Lanns had another swap round as he searches for a formation that will lead to a first win of the season. Keenan Rosser and Lewis Bishop came in for their debuts, the later being the son of former Chairman Mark Bishop. Youth team forward Jamie Molyneux also started following his four goals for the youths in mid-week.
Coleshill started brightly and played much better than they have of late but although Boldmere were pinned back they always looked in control and when, against the run of play, they took the lead it was hardly a surprise. A long diagonal ball caught out the home teams square defence and Stuart Capadi bundled the ball over the line despite a desperate lunging tackle from Keenan Rosser. From a Chris Lloyd free kick Coleshill almost equalised, Jamie Molyneux saw his shot pushed away by the visitors keeper and then the stopper was up quick to block the follow up attempt by Phil Gayle. Coleshill keeper Martinez dropped a corner but did well to block the resulting shot with his body.
Coleshill had hoped to get something from a game in which they showed some promise, especially against the current league leaders but with only four minutes on the second half clock they had an up hill task as Tom Law put Boldmere 2-0 up. At this stage Boldmere were playing the better football and Coleshill were struggling to keep the ball for any length of time.
It wasn't until Coleshill made two substitutes after about 70 mins that they started to come more into the game.
Danny Carter replaced Jason Ramsey and the Keenan Rosser was replaced by Chris Charles who went into the middle of a back three with the big centre half Joe Lyng pushed up front, as he had done at Stratford the previous week.
This had an immediate impact as he won a header and young Molyneux had a shot saved by the Boldmere keeper.
However Boldmere kept playing the better football and came close to scoring themselves only to be denied by a good save from the Coleshill keeper.
Both sided had chances to score but could not find the net. Coleshill should have scored when Carter beat two defenders in the box rounded the keeper but his shot from an acute angle hit the post.
Boldmere were the better well organised side but Coleshill did not give up and were unlucky not to score but overall probably did not deserve anything from the game.
