Coleshill played their part in a thoroughly entertaining game in which they shrugged off their recent poor performances and played with heart and passion even when they were four goals down, and finally got their reward with two goals in the last five minutes.
James Travis's headed goal on 85mins means he joins the very small list of Coleshill players who have scored against a professional team in a competitive match. Danny Carter's 90th minute strike means he heads that list as the only Coleshill player to score against two different pro teams. Matty Robinson and John Taylor are the only other names on that list.
Burton brought a team sprinkled with first teamers and academy players but Coleshill also rested players as new manager Andy Reece took the opportunity to run the rule over his full squad. Paul Hathaway was between the sticks, wether as a guest or he has returned to the fold who knows, but he will have been dissappointed to be beaten at his near post as early as the 5th minute as Liam Slade headed in from a corner. Coleshill had the NPower Division 1 side on the rack for few minutes and deserved an equaliser but Albion broke away and scored a goal of pure class as Billy Kee tapped home a four man move. The visitors could have increased their lead before the break but plucky Coleshill kept them at bay.
Early in the second half Burton hit the bar but they didn't have it all their own way as James Travis and Chris Lloyd had chances cleared off the line and as Town pressed they hit the woodwork themselves from a Lloyd free kick. Tanzanian striker Adi Yussuf then took over scoring twice in a ten minute period to give the scoreline a distorted look but to be fair to the home team they never gave up and were rewarded with Travis' and Carters' late efforts.
Well done Coleshill! The fight, heart and team spirit was back and gives manager Reece something to work with as the league programme now takes priority.

Consecutive defeats but still reasons to smile for Coleshill
THIS was a great night for Coleshill Town with a fair and friendly crowd watching League Two opposition, Burton brought a side with a mix of youth and experience.
Adi Yussuf scored twice with Billy Kee and academy centre back Liam Slade adding the other goals for Albion.
But Coleshill more than held their own and in-fact for large parts of the game were the better team with the only difference between the sides being the clinical finishing from the Brewers.
Coleshill did manage to hit the crossbar and have a goal bound shot cleared off the line but for most of the game a strong Burton defence held resolute that is until the second half when goals from James Travis and Danny Carter always kept Coleshill in the game.
