SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
There was a goalless draw for Coleshill Town at Loughborough University.

Report by Paul Billing
On paper a very tough fixture but a visit to Loughborough’s new stadium should have been the added incentive for Coleshill to do well. Loughborough started like a million dollars their passing and movement was exceptional and they could easily have been to up their best chance was very well saved by Paul Hathaway pushing a shot onto his near post. Coleshill after riding out the first twenty five minutes of incessant pressure started to grow in stature and were soon proving to be a match for their high flying opposition, Coleshill had a dream of a chance through Chris Lloyd who forced a good save from the Loughborough goal keeper. The second half was all Coleshill who stretched and pulled their opponents all over the pitch and it seem that Coleshill had a stone wall penalty when Lloyd was pulled to the ground but unfortunately the referee waved play on. This was a massive point for Coleshill especially as they played the last twenty minutes with ten men after Conner Leek was sent of for something he said to the referee.
