The match report on Saturday v Rocester was very short due to little if any action. This match report would be toooo long if I recorded all the action so I'm just going to summarise the game!
Coleshill played really well in the first 20 minutes but lacked a cutting edge. Stourport went ahead with a gift when Luke Edwards and Paul Hathaway got in a mix-up and Jamie Lemon nipped in for the easiest goal he will ever score. Suddenly Swifts had the swagger about them that we had become accustomed to and started to dictate the game. They increased their lead before the half hour mark with another soft goal. A needless free kick was given away and when the ball was floated in Chris Morrison, unchallenged, flicked the ball home. Swifts full back then hit a thunderous shot that cannoned off the goal post but deserved a goal. So at half time Coleshill probably deserved to be a goal down but not two.
The second half was the most exciting 45 minutes I've seen in some time. Coleshill got at the visitors from the off and deservedly pulled a goal back with a smart shot from Declan Kirby. Swifts were rattled! In the four games we have played against them I have not seen them panic or give the ball away so much. Minutes later Coleshill thought they had a penalty when Luke Edwards was brought to the ground, the referee waved play on, Ryan Nash crossed into the box and this time a penalty was given for hand ball. Dean Rathbone converted. On 62 minutes Coleshill went in front with another tremendous shot this time from Dean Rathbone and Coleshill were deservedly ahead. Terrific stuff! A sign of Coleshill's dominance was when John Griffin, scorer of 7 goals in three games against Town, was taken off as he had been anonymous! As good teams do, Swifts slowing settled and came back into the game but their equaliser also had an element of luck about it. A deep cross looked to be sailing over the bar with keeper Paul Hathaway just helping the ball on it's way but it hit the bar, came down on the line and Jamie Willets was on hand to force the ball home.
Coleshill's first point against Stourport and over the 90 minutes probably a fair result but for 20 or 30 minutes in the second half, Town played with pace, power and, with the ball on the deck, looked like world beaters. In that time they set a standard that if they could match it on a regular basis they could beat anyone in this league.

Coleshill Town hit back in Stourport clash
COLESHILL produced a thrilling comeback against bogey side Stourport Swifts on Tuesday night.
Their battling qualities almost landed them three points but a late goal from Jamie Willets helped Swifts salvage a point.
Stourport had looked comfortable in the opening half and made the first telling contribution though in the 15th minute.
Jamie Lemon pounced on a long ball and got between keeper Paul Hathaway and defender Dominic Reece before tucking the ball home.
The lead was then doubled on the half hour when Jamie Hyde provided a cross from the left and Chris Morrison headed in.
The game turned in two second-half minutes as Paul Casey's men battled back in style.
Two minutes after the restart Coleshill were back in the game when Chris Lloyd found Declan Kirby on the edge of the box and he drilled a shot past Hayden Whitcombe.
A minute later Whitcombe was picking the ball out of the net, this time Jamie Willets harshly adjudged to have handled Oliver Casey's cross and Dean Rathbone thumping a low spot-kick past the keeper.
In the 65th minute Rathbone thumped a low shot through a crowded goalmouth from 20 yards to put the hosts in front for the first time.
But Swifts substitute Calvin Dinsley made a telling impact five minutes from time when his cross landed on the bar and Willets pounced to fire in the equaliser.
