Match Report
Matt Brown made his first start and scored his first goal on his return from a spell at Coalville Town. Dave Stewart made his debut for Town. Craig Milligan played just his second game. Shane Benjamin scored for the fourth game in a row, his 13th of the season so far. Simeon Cobourne scored his 7th of the season and Chris Lloyd his 3rd. Coleshill recorded their third consecutive win, including two clean sheets and moved up to 3rd in the table, just two points behind Long Eaton United with a game in hand, and also two points from leaders Basford United.

The returning Matt Brown could and should have had a first half hat-trick but the only goal he scored, not a classic, put Coleshill in front. Tipton are not the side of old and although Town didn't play too well in the first 45 minutes they were by far the better side and made their superiority count in the second half. Shane Benjamin led the way as usual but Simeon Cobourne also could have had a hat-trick as his pace caused constant problems. Cobourne scored one and Chris Lloyd completed the scorer with eight minutes remaining.

Coleshill previously could not beat Tipton Town for love nor money losing 9 games on the bounce but in 2012/13 Coleshill finally took their first point from their Black Country rivals in a 2-2 home draw. Last season they drew 0-0 at Tipton and followed that up with a fine 3-1 win at Packmeadow on the last day of the season.
