MATCH REPORT
Coleshill played the perfect game with some clinical finishing to leave the home team stunned. Town had dropped out of the top six after a run of just one win in five league games but the win over fourth placed Quorn has narrowed the gap and restored confidence.

Simeon Cobourne, in a rare start, was a constant threat with his electric pace and could have opened the scoring on a one on one with the home keeper Laurie Pearson but the keeper made the first of several fine saves to deny the youngster. Shane Benjamin hit the side netting before Town took the lead on 24 minutes. Craig Milligan's slide rule through ball found Cobourne who fed Dean Rathbone and although his first effort was blocked, he gathered the re-bound to thump the ball into the roof of the net. The home side played some impressive passing football and had plenty of possession but rarely threatened in the final third. On the other hand Coleshill broke quickly and made the most of the chances that came their way. Another Milligan through ball found Cobourne on 34 minutes, the striker calmly slotting the ball past Pearson. In a repeat just four minutes later Milligan sent Cobourne clear but this time Pearson saved well only to see the rebound fall to Rathbone who lifted the ball into the net for 3-0. A minute before half time it was four as leading scorer Shane Benjamin showed great strength to hold of his marker and then shot across the keeper for his 23rd goal of the season.

Quorn dominated the opening period of the second half but again Chris Jay in the Coleshill goal was rarely called into action. The nearest they came to troubling the score board was when Nathan Dale hit the bar with a header from a corner. Cobourne managed to lift the ball over the bar from less than six yards out and Pearson saved well from Benjamin. The depth of Coleshill's squad came to the for as all three substitutes contributed to the scoring. Danny Tymon sent Matt Brown clear and he confidently shot across the keeper and into the net on 70 minutes and a Will Worthington free kick which bounced off the keeper was tapped home by Chris Lloyd,s first touch of the ball. Ryan Nash's fine run and cross to Lloyd was tipped over the bar by Pearson. Quorn's own substitute, Kris Nurse, came closest to a consolidation goal but Jay palmed away his volley at full stretch.
