MATCH REPORT
Coleshill reached the half way point of the current campaign two points better off than at the same time last season and have already shown their intention to improve on a 4th place finish as they started the second half with the demolition of last season's runners up Boldmere St Michaels.

Luke Edwards returned after a three match suspention and Ricky Cutting made a first start following a five minute debut in a snow storm against the University. Matt Brown wasn't included in the squad and has moved on!

The Mikes have several ex Town players in their ranks and started the game one place above Coleshill.

Danny Douglas should have given the visitors the lead in the first minute as a Dean Rathbone free kick found him unmarked in the penalty box but his header went wide. In an even first half Boldmere's chances were quickly snuffed out by some excellent tackling by Danny Douglas and Luke Edwards. Rathbone decided to pass when the shot looked on which surprised Tom Weale who dragged his shot straight at the keeper. Coleshill took the lead on the stroke of half time as the lively Rickie Cutting got on the end of a through ball and calmly stroked the ball under the advancing keeper and into the net.

Tom Weale was replaced by Ryan Nash at the re-start due to an injury. Craig Milligan fed Shane Benjamin and after a 1-2 with Cutting, Town's leading scorer fired straight at the keeper, then Cutting pinched the ball off a defender and tried to lob the keeper but hurried the attempt and the ball landed safely in the keepers arms. Coleshill were getting on top and it was a surprise when Ricky Cutting was substituted as he had had an impressive full debut. But what an inspired substitution it was! On came young Simeon Cobourne and the Mikes defence just couldn't handle his pace! Cobourne had a hand in all four goals that were to follow! Connor Leek showed just what he is capable of as he ran at the Coleshill defence leaving players in his wake but he finished the run with a weak shot that was easily gathered by Town keeper Chris Jay. Rathbone sent Cobourne racing clear for his first chance but his effort was easily saved. A minute later Cobourne went down in the box looking for a penalty and then he was back again but this time his shot was cleared off the line. On 64 minutes Cobourne again caused havoc in the home defence this time he was brought down on the edge of the box and as last man Richard Robinson was shown a red card. Shane Benjamin hit the free kick through the wall and into the corner of the net, 2-0. Cobourne just kept going and got his reward on 73 minutes when he was once again sent clear by Dean Rathbone and this time the little striker made no mistake to put Town 3-0 up. Charisma Agbonlahor shot narrowly wide but the home side were being pulled apart! Cobourne went down in the box again but again no penalty and then on 79 minutes Cobourne selflessly set up Benjamin who scored with a left foot shot. Leon Weller's run and cross set up Danny Tymon who hit the post with a thunderous shot and Ryan Nash's follow up effort was well saved. In the last minute Nash and Rathbone combined to leave Cobourne with the simple task of walking the ball into the net for number five.

Coleshill have had a couple of good wins against Boldmere of late but this win was emphatic and could have been many more than just the five! The last three games have seen three clean sheets and 13 goals! If Town can maintain this form they may still have some say in the championship race!
