COLESHILL GAZETTE WROTE
Coleshill’s first home game of the season was a real family affair on a lovely sunny summers day! There were more Mum’s and small children than the club has seen in some time. Was this an answer to the plea for more spectators for your local team, I hope so! We still need more but this will do for starters. A big THANK YOU from the club to everyone that made the effort. What made the day even better was the result. Coleshill won their first game since being promoted to the Premiership of the Midland Combination with goals from Paul Burns, an Ant McManus penalty and after a scare when the visitors, Pershore Town, made the score 2-2 through Simon Brain and Paul Summers, youngster Christian Crisp lobbed the keeper to secure all three points.
