COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill Suffer Third Straight Defeat

Coleshill suffered their third defeat in a row to a single goal but deserved to return from Coventry with at least a point. The first half was very even with neither side creating many chances and play restricted to the midfield area. The only goal of the game came just after the half hour mark when Des Seivwright, a former Town player, got time and space in the box and his downward header bounced agonisingly over the despairing dive of keeper Gregg Allen. The second period saw Coleshill dominate possession but were unable to convert their superiority into clear cut chances. The best opportunities fell to Paul Burns. He twice arrived late in the box to power headers goalwards but both efforts went narrowly wide. The midfielder is noted for his heading prowess and on another day he could have been the match winner. Coleshill hang on to sixth place in the league but the chasing pack is now within touching distance. One more defeat could see them drop two or three places.
