COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Inspirational Connor

Seventeen year old striker James Connor almost capped an amazing debut with a hat-trick as Coleshill destroyed Nuneaton Griff. Connor scored twice and hit the post as Town were rampant. In fact, Coleshill scored all five goals, the unfortunate Ray Scandrett beat his own keeper to give the home side the lead. Ricky Marshall equalised for Town in the first half when he chased a hopeful ball and the keeper sliced his kick, leaving Marshall with a simple tap in. Coleshill Took the lead just before the break when midfielder Stuart Howard broke clear and slotted the ball beneath the keeper. The second half belonged to Connor and he scored his first with a sweet volley and scored his second on the hour when he chipped the keeper after out-pacing the defence. Connor then went close with another volley and Howard hit the post with a 40 yard lob.
