COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Strong Is Pleased As Coleshill Battle Hard For A Valuable Point

Coleshill Manager Colin Strong was satisfied with a draw as he saw his side come back from a goal down at half time to salvage a point in a gritty performance. Mitchell Thompson went close went close for Coleshill before the visitors went ahead in the 25th minute when keeper Greg Allen misjudged a cross to leave a Holly Lane forward a free header into an empty net. Coleshill were being outfought and at times, out-played but still came up with the best chance of the opening half when Thompson used his pace effectively for the first time to gain a corner on 44 minutes. When the ball was slung in, Tim Hilton saw his fine header come back off a heel of a defender on the goal line, though he knew nothing about it. The second half saw a much improved Coleshill take the game to the opposition and they equalised on 55 minutes. Hilton finished a superb move involving Kevin Moore, Mitchell Thompson and Paul Burns. At this point Coleshill looked as if they could go on and win the game and had several chances to do so but to Holly Lane's credit, they also had chances and Allan Thomas cleared off the line in the dying minutes.
