Defences Are On Top As Coleshill Miss Chance

Coleshill missed the opportunity to go back to the top of Division One after a goalless draw with rivals Handsaker. Town obviously missed goalscorer Tim Hilton and defences were certainly in control. Each side only managed to carve out one real chance each as Handsaker hit the foot of the post and Coleshill striker Frank Woodburn saw a near post volley go inches wide from a cross from the ever dangerous Mitchell Thompson. A draw was probably a fair result but Hansaker will be the happier of the two teams as it maintains their narrow lead at the top of the table. However, if Coleshill can repeat and improve on this level of performance for the remaining twelve games of the season, they will be pushing all the way for the league title.
