COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Cobourne To The Rescue With Late Leveller

Simeon Cobourne earned Coleshill Town a late draw with Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday. Cobourne fired home in the 92nd minute to earn Coleshill a 2-2 draw as they came from behind twice to grab a point. Sam Moore opened for Dynamo before Sam Adkins equalised. Liam Read fired the home side back in front in the 82nd minute before Cobourne's dramatic leveller. Coleshill boss Paul Casey was pleased with the way that his side battled right until the end. He said "It was a good point for us on Saturday in a game we could well have lost as we had quite a few players missing. Shepshed are a good side and it could have gone either way. There could have been even more goals in the game so overall I was happy as it was a good result. We had chances throughout the game and eventually managed to grab a point right at the end."

A Match Report taken from Shepshed website.
SHEPSHED Dynamo gained their first point in three matches, but were denied maximum points with an injury time equaliser by Coleshill Town at the Dovecote Stadium. The result saw Dynamo drop out of the top four on goal difference but have three games in hand on Heanor Town.

Shepshed took the lead on seven minutes, Liam Read finding Matt Langham who in turn found Sam Moore to shoot past Paul Hathaway into the right hand corner.

Langham nearly doubled Shepshed’s lead six minutes later, Michael Reeve supplying Langham for Hathaway to save.

Coleshill’s first chance came on 14 minutes when Reece Leek’s shot was blocked by Adam Hohn.

After Langham’s shot was saved by Hathaway on 17 minutes the visitors were level a minute later. Dynamo gave a free kick away on the edge of the box and Sam Adkins curled his kick past Jack Drury.

Coleshill nearly took the lead two minutes later Drury saving from former Shepshed striker Shane Benjamin.

Shepshed then went close on 20 minutes, Read flicking on but Reeve’s shot went into the side netting.

Shepshed finished the half strongly - Drury’s throw out to Read was met by Moore but his shot was straight at Hathaway on 36 minutes and three minutes later, Tom Rigby’s cross was met by the head of Reeve but he could not find the target. A minute later Hathaway dealt with Read’s cross under the bar.

Coleshill nearly went in front on 48 minutes but Benjamin slipped in front of goal.

After the break, Coleshill goalscorer Adkins went close with a free kick on 59 minutes and a minute later Langham fired wide for Shepshed.

Shepshed regained the lead on 82 minutes, Reeve and Read combining well for Read to put Dynamo in front and then Scott Stainland went close on 83 minutes.

Coleshill always threatened an equaliser and with time running out both sides went in search of a goal. Reeves effort was saved by Hathaway on 87 minutes and the Coleshill keeper then pulled off a fine save from Alex Richards on 91 minutes.

Coleshill countered from the clearance and Simeone Cobourne slotted past Drury to make it 2-2 and soon after the game was over.
