MATCH REPORT
The game was in doubt due to heavy overnight rain but the grounds staff did a great job in getting the match on and although the pitch cut up, it didn't effect the football on show. The first game between the two sides back in January was very keenly contested with a draw being a fair reflection of the play, but in this game Coleshill brushed aside a very young Boldmere side who never recovered from being three goals down after just 25 minutes.
Simeon Cobourne, in a rare start for Coleshill, opened the scoring with just three minutes on the clock. A Craig Milligan free kick found Shane Benjamin in the box who held the ball up well before slipping the ball to Cobourne who skipped along the six yard box before shooting left footed into the net. On 16 minutes a Milligan ball was chested down and then lifted over the keeper by Gio Dainty for 2-0. On 25 minutes a quickly taken free kick released Reece Leek down the right and his pin-point cross was headed home by Cobourne. Cobourne completed his hat-trick on the hour mark with a fine individual goal. The young striker picked up the ball down the left side of the 18 yard box and out-paced a defender to get to the bye line, but then he cut inside, rounded the keeper and shot home. Two minutes later prolific striker Shane Benjamin got in on the act when he controlled a Tom Weale cross on the penalty spot before turning and shooting into the net for 5-0. Life didn't get any better for the home team as Town manager Paul Casey changed his strike force and Mykel Beckley, Luke Barlone and Danico Johnson all joined the contest. The Mikes Charlie Morris scored a consolation goal on 82 minutes but it was the dominant Coleshill that scored the final goal on 85 minutes when Johnson cleverly found Barlone who side footed into the net.

Only four games left now but Coleshill are enjoying their football at the moment with 24 goals in the last 5 games and the next time they find the net will be the 100th league goal of the season!
