Coleshill Town's continuing injury jinx has now sidelined new boy Andy Burnham. Martin Society's promotion dark horses recruited Burnham from West Midlands Fire Service but he has been consigned to the casualty list in his second game. Having made his debut against Worcester Athletico, the utility man went off after just two minutes of their draw with Meir KA with a hamstring injury. But he will not be without company on the casualty list. Dave Carmichael, hurt against Upton Town last year, has been told he needs a second knee operation, although Paul Charnley and Peter Kirkham are progressing well after long term injuries. Sockett hopes that they could be back in contention in a fortnight. Despite losing their unbeaten record at Worcester, Coleshill remain 5th in the Premier Division table. Sockett remained philosophical, saying: "It's not been ideal but all we can do is do the best we can with what we have got. We haven't been able to choose from our strongest squad but all credit to the players who have come in for keeping things going. We've still got plenty of competition." The latest addition has been utility Player Justin Mulhall, picked up from minor Coventry football.
