SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Two goals from Paul Mountney kept Coleshill Town on course for a title challenge beating Bolehall Swifts 2-1. Stuart Meer opened for the home side but Mountney's double, his second in injury time, secured the three points for Coleshill.

TAMWORTH HERALD WROTE
Coleshill Town can rightly claim to be the top side in the area in the Endsleigh League, after claiming four points from a possible six in their games against Bolehall Swifts this season. It was the visitors that showed first, testing Bolehall keeper Taylor with a shot from Wardle that came through a pack of players after only four minutes. The young keeper got down well and held the ball. At the other end Meer set himself up for a shot but his attempt was blocked and Fry hit the rebound well wide. On 25 minutes Town pressure saw a corner from their left and Shaw rose to head down, only for Taylor to save. It was 37 minutes into the game when the deadlock was broken. Stuart Meer collected a ball in the inside left position, and beat off four tackles before delivering the shot that beat Coleshill keeper Manuel. Seivwright was then unlucky not to equalise when he hit a powerful volley which went narrowly wide, just before the break. Swifts started the second half quite well, and when Meer broke out of defence it looked promising, but his final pass was intercepted and the ball was quickly rifled diagonally down filed to space where Taylor and Mountney raced for it. The Coleshill forward won the event and steered into an empty net for 1-1. Buckley, Williams and Winston Roberts all went close for Bolehall, but it was Coleshill's day. Well into injury time yet another free kick was awarded by the referee, and a ball pumped into the Bolehall box was scrambled into the net by Mountney despite a valiant effort by Nigel Fry to clear it off the line.
